The Pruiett's bees help pollinate their fields and U-pick strawberry operation. You can buy honey from them directly in containers ranging from 8 ounces to 5 gallons. You also can find their honey at the Rademacher Orchards stand at the Wednesday farmers' market at the Country Fair Shopping Center in Champaign. To get to the farm, take I-74 to the Ogden exit. Turn left. Go approximately 13 miles. The farm is located one quarter mile south of Penfield on County Road 2700E

Located approximately one half mile south of Arthur on the County Line Road (000E in Douglas County/1800E in Moultrie County), Shady Crest is an Amish-owned orchard that produces comb honey. The orchard is open from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday. Note: Several FPCS members alternate picking up group orders from Shady Crest and other Arthur-area vendors.
