Started in 1994, Pea Ridge has one of the largest elk herds in Illinois. Pea Ridge's elk are grazed on grass and legume pastures, and are not treated with growth hormones or antibiotics. The herd is TB and Brucellosis accredited and CWD monitored. Pea Ridge's elk snack sticks are available at Alto Pass Vineyards and World Harvest in Champaign.
