First Fruits offers free range hormone- and antibiotic-free pastured chicken eggs at the Urbana Farmer's Market and the farm's restaurant/store in Mahomet just a few blocks south of the interstate. The store is open year round from 10 am to 6 pm on Tuesday through Friday; 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday.

The Moores raise hormone- and antibiotic-free, free-range pastured chicken eggs year-round. They deliver each week to two locations, one in Urbana and one in Champaign. You can place a standing order of any quantity of chicken eggs from 1 half dozen or more, paid quarterly. Call (815) 432-6238 to place your order. Chicken eggs are available at a slightly higher price by the dozen at the Urbana Farmer's Market on a first-come, first-served basis. Moore eggs are featured in several dishes bacaro Italian restaurant in Champaign, Illinois.

The Hesterbergs raise antibiotic-free, cage-free, brown eggs on their Penfield farm, northeast of Urbana. Call for availability and delivery/pickup information. To get to the farm from Urbana, take I-74 to the Ogden/Royal exit. At the top of the exit ramp, turn left. Go north approximately 12 miles. At 2900N, turn right. Go 1 and 3/4 miles more, the farm will be on your right.
