First Fruits offers unpasteurized cider from area orchards during the fall at the farm's restaurant/store in Mahomet just a few blocks south of the interstate. The store is open year round from 10 am to 6 pm on Tuesday through Friday; 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday.

The Rademachers sell cider in season at their farm south of Gifford and at the Wednesday farmers' market at Country Fair Shopping Center in Champaign. To get to the farm, take Route 45 north of Champaign to Route 136. Turn right. At Gifford, turn right on Main Street. Take Main which becomes Route 32, to County Road 2800N. Turn left; the orchard is at the third house on the left.

Located approximately 1/2 mile south of Arthur on the County Line Road (000E in Douglas County/1800E in Moultrie County), Shady Crest is an Amish-owned orchard that produces organic, unpasteurized cider in season. The orchard is open from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Saturday. Bring your own half gallon or gallon containers to receive a discount. You may also be able to find Shady Crest cider at Common Ground Food Cooperative in Champaign.
